Hello! Id love to get some more information about this tantalus, the brand/age/directions to look

Additionally with my won research the Sheild with R - P in it likely refers to Robert Pringle, though I cant seem to figure out the age from then
Robert Pringle is correct. The hallmark is a Chester mark with the (sideways) date letter C for 1903/04. Robert Pringle & Sons, a London company, would have been the “sponsors”, probably not the makers of the plaque. As this is a Chester hallmark the plaque would most likely have been made by a Birmingham manufacturing silversmith on behalf of Pringles (hence my use of the word sponsor). The tantalus itself was probably made by a third party and sold through Pringle & Sons’ retail outlet.
