Tea Set - unknown maker

Hello, anyone recognize this makers mark? At first I thought it might be a thistle, but perhaps a winged griffin? I believe its 800 silver, with a chip in the the last 0 on the stamp? thx!

Update: I did a sketch of the mark (attached) and ran it through Google Images, wonder if this description makes sense to anyone?

“The Venetian lion normally has wings, very often holds a book below its paw, and sometimes is completed by a halo around its head. These three elements (wings, book, halo) reveal it as a symbol of Saint Mark the Evangelist, patron saint of the city .”
