Hello, I have this Christofle teapot and I personally think it is a true work of art in metalwork. I would like help identifying which year this piece would be from, please?
The serial number is 1230994, which suggests to me that it dates back to the mid-1890s, but there are those 4 3s, which leave me in doubt as to what they refer to. Another question, could anyone tell me if Christofle ever restarted the counting of its serial numbers? Thanks in advance.
