Thank you very much for letting me know that. Does that mean it actually goes on top of a stove? Any idea what the value could be?
It would probably originally have had a paraffin/kerosene burner with stand as part of a larger tea service (teapot, creamer, sucrier together with, possibly, a hot water jug and a coffee pot).
Value cannot be determined without knowing composition, manufacturer, age, size. I suggest that, once you know these, you check out Ebay’s “Sold” listings to find something comparable.
