Thimble Silver or Not!

Marked CH Dorcas 4 !!!, no hallmark as such. is this a Charles Horner No4 Dorcas thimble or just wishful thinking !! :thinking:. Top decoration appears Gold or Gold washed. Thank you in advance :wink:

No hallmark = not silver. Most, if not all, silver Horner thimbles I have seen have a Chester hallmark.

Me too to be honest, it looks silver, but I’ve nearly always had them with a hallmark :thinking:. Thank you Phil :wink:
