Tiny Italian Hallmark

Hi! I have a late 20th-early 21st century silver necklace of modest value that’s marked “925” and “Italy” on one side of the clasp. On the other side of the clasp is a tiny mark that could possibly be a heart. I know modern silversmiths in Italian are assigned province letters and a number under a regulation scheme the government put in place, but I don’t see this kind of hallmark anywhere on the necklace, which seems odd. I’ve attached a photo of the mark in question. Has anyone seen this tiny mark before and who it’s ascribed to? Why might this necklace not carry province letters and a number? Thanks!
