Amston, Athene (Sterling, 1913) | Replacements, Ltd.

Whiting & Co., Frank M. – Antique Jewelry University

A new punch was stamped on the original Frank Whiting signature, even the shape matches perfectly. The patent mark also confirms this.

Thank you, I was wondering what was going on the set I have has the monogram F on it. I’m sure the people i bought is from had no clue. Should the box itself was worth the $ 10.00. Do you think the engraver could have changed the hallmark. Thank you very much for the information. I just like making dull things shine again. Loretta

I am not an expert in engraving, nor do I know the methods or customs used in engraving. I will leave the answer to your question to others.
