The case is sterling silver (925), hallmarked in London during the assay year 1885/86 and with the JR maker’s (or sponsor’s) mark of Rotherham & Sons, watch & watch case manufacturers of Spon Street, Coventry.

Do you know what the P is above the JR emblem?
Is K not early 1900s?
Probably a journeyman’s mark; i.e. a mark to show which worker was responsible for the piece.
