W 22 sterling silver

Hi all

Can anyone tell me what W 22 sterling silver is?

Thanks
John

Hi John - that’s not a term…sterling silver is 92.5% silver alloyed with 7.5% of another metal, usually copper. the “W22” is probably a pattern or model number stamped near the word “sterling”.

Regards,

Uncle Vic

Thanks for that

John
