W&h 1887 query, is this little vale before I use it as a vase

Hi all, just picked this up in charity shop, fern tankard, w&h 3603 ( what does this mean) warranted hard soldered 36. I craved with a name and date 1887 am I right in thinking it’s silver plated and little value ( before I stick a bunch of flowers in it!)

W&H is the manufacturer, Walker & Hall, and 3603 is their pattern/design number. You are right - it is silver plated so has no intrinsic value, but a little as a decorative item. It will look even better if you give it a bit of a polish before putting flowers in it, although of course the silver coating will tarnish again.
