W.H.R silver mark

Hello
Can anyone I’d this maker
Thanks
Nick

I think the initials my be WHH. WIthout any other clues (apart from the word “silver” which implies an English-speaking country) we cannot be at all sure about any attribution. But if it is WHH and also if it is English then my guess would be the Birmingham silversmith William Hair Haseler or his successor company W H Haseler Ltd.

Thanks
I wonder why there isn’t a normal set of marks?

Yes that’s him
I found a brooch made by him with the same mark
He made items for liberty

Either too small for compulsory marking (7.78grams) or made for a foreign market. Or it’s not a British piece at all…

It is William hair haseler I found other pieces of his with the exactly the same marks
