Walking cane

I have inherited my Great grandfather’s walking cane made of a very dark wood and what I think is probably a tusk for a handle. There is an engraved silver band around the cane where the tusk and wood join. I would love to be able to identify the silversmith etc. I would really appreciate it if anyone can help.

The hallmark, although fairly worn, appears to be London 1901 with a maker’s mark TP for Thomas Parker, who registered this mark as a stick mounter in May 1899. In 1901 he was working in Albermarle Street, Clerkenwell.

Thank you so much. That ties in perfectly as I believe he was given the cane when he retired from the railway around that time and he lived in the area too. Thanks again, much appreciated.
