Hello all. After your success with the William Young makers mark I have another puzzle for you. This one is also on a marrow scoop (but a different one). I think that the hallmarks identify it for Solomon Hougham in London in 1792, but it’s the monogram, an E with a crown over it, that I can’t track. I’m not convinced that it’s an English crown, but I don’t know. What do you think? And what is its significance?
