Wm. A Rogers ltd. Canada logo with 925 under it?

I found this at a thrift store in my hunt for silver earlier today and I’m trying to figure out what this…

I have narrowed the logo design down to late 1800s-early 1900s, but can’t find any examples where it includes a 925 underneath.

Reddit thinks this is a model or manufacturer number.

WR seemed to sell silver plate just fine with it listed as silver plate… I don’t think they would have to try tricking people into buying plate by marking it with the number that represents Sterling.

Ice melts quicker than normal in it, it is non magnetic, and there is a gouge in the bottom with no signs of a base metal underneath.

The top of the bowl is 5.5 inches across, the base is 2.75 across, it is 3.5 inches tall and weighs ~5 ounces.

The mark on your piece is used on medium grade plate.

My piece doesn’t have the plated initials above the mark and has a 925 underneath instead of the 375 or whatever number is under the reference.

I cut into it and it appears to be the same metal all the way through.

Used silver testing acid on the outside and the cut and it’s coming up the same color red.

I turned a 100 year old piece of sterling into scrap because rOgErS dOeSnT mAkE sTeRlInG

I have what appears to be exactly the same as yours but only 3 1/4" tall. Mine is also not as pretty (unpolished). Unfortunately, I had high hopes as you did. The stamp on yours is a bit higher than mine, seemingly hiding the EPBM marks. I also thought mine did not have the extra marks but after reading the above info, I used a brillo pad to reach up and under to scrub. It turns out the EPBM letters are extremely difficult to read (and mostly hidden) but they are there. Did you find out what the main metal is? Or any other info on the bowl? Mine will be hitting a garge sale next week. Price tag: $1.00 but will go to best offer. (Edited to add photos)
