WM Rogers Dish Questions

I recently found some things that belonged to my uncle and were given to me when he passed away. I have been able to find a lot of information on most things, but this little elevated dish has me with a lot of questions. I know it is a wm rogers (surrounded by an eagle and a star). Does anyone know what this little dish is called? I can’t find any pictures of it anywhere giving it an actual name.

Without knowing the dimensions, I would say it was a raised Muffin Dish (for keeping muffins warm).
There would sometimes be a detatchable plate inside the dish under which there would be hot water or something to keep the plate & muffins warm.
Unless someone else has some other ideas
